Centennial

2026 marks 100 years since John Edwin Upton began the Hillcrest Orchestra, and this group has been together in one form or another almost continuously since then.

 

Join us for special events and performances throughout the year:

- Watching of The Hills Are Alive and On the Road Again television specials from decades back, with live entertainment and refreshments

- Special exhibit at the museum featuring the orchestra and music in the Pass, open now

​

- Grand concert on June 5th at 7 pm at MDM Community Centre featuring Crowsnest Community Choir and soloists Eilidh Bowie & Julie Amundsen​, along with a slideshow, silent auction, and cake
